BSD starts collecting funds

Bangladesher Samajtantrik Dal (BSD) has started collecting funds for the upcoming Barishal City Corporation elections in different way to meet the election expenditure of the party. District and city unit BSD organised a press conference at their party office in Fakirbari Road of the city to receive the clay pots which they had distributed among supporters to raise funds.

The party had distributed over 200 clay pots to the lower-income group two months ago, asking them to save money for BSD's election expenditure.

The move came following BSD mayoral candidate Dr Manisha Chakrabarty's statement that people should choose their mayor at their own expense.
