The government, in principle, has created 6,13,155 posts from 2009 to March, 2018 against demand of different ministries and divisions aimed at making the administration speedy and time befitting, reports BSS. “As part of the move, process is underway for creating some 52,079 more posts in different ministries and divisions of the administration,” Public Administration Minister Syed Ashraful Islam told the Jatiya Sangsad this, while replying to a starred question from treasury bench member Momtaj Begum in the Jatiya Sangsad yesterday.
He said the public administration ministry gives approval for creating new posts for ministries and divisions continuously against separate demand by different ministries and divisions in the government. “The present government is committed to make the administration efficient, corruption free, transparent and accountable,” Syed Ashraf told this, while replying to another question from treasury bench member Muhammad Mizanur Rahman of Khulna-2.
To this end, the government has undertaken various necessary steps in the public administration ministry, he informed the House.
