‘Robber’ killed by rivals in Gaibandha

Gaibandha: A suspected robber was stabbed to death and his brother injured as their rivals attacked them in Kashdaho village ofsadarupazila early yesterday, reports UNB.

The deceased was identified as Paresh and the injured as Bhabesh, sons of Naresh of the village. Khan MohammadShahrier, officer-in-charge of Sadar Police Station, said a gang of robbers called Paresh and Bhabesh out from their house around2am.

When they reached the house of another robberMadhuMia of the same village, the gang started stabbing them indiscriminately, leaving the two siblings critically injured.

Later in the day, Paresh scrambled to injuries at Rangpur Medical College Hospital. Bhabesh is undergoing treatment at Gaibandha Adhunik Sadar Hospital.
