Kishoreganj: The floating bodies of three siblings were recovered from a pond in Ashtoka village of Karimganj upazila on Sunday morning, a day after they went missing, reports UNB.
The deceased were identified as Jonaki, 9, Chadni, 7, and Safayeat Ullah, 4, children of Helal Uddian of Sakura Tekpara village in the upazila.
The trio along with their mother went to visit their uncle’s house in the same village on June 21. But, they went missing on Saturday while came out from the house for playing.
The family members and locals searched them in different places in the village but could not trace them.
Later around 6 am on Sunday morning, locals spotted the floating bodies in a pond near their uncle’s house around.
