Police recovered the bullet-hit body of a suspected drug trader besides rail tracks on Chuadanga-Darshana road in Damurhuda upazila of Chuadanga yesterday, reports UNB. The deceased was identified as Hridoy, 28, son of Bacchu Mia of Darshana upazila. He was wanted in 14 cases, said Sukumar Biswash, officer-in-charge of Damurhuda Police Station. Locals spotted the body near the rail tracks and informed police who, later, recovered it and sent it to a local hospital morgue for autopsy around 11 am. Police suspected that Hridoy might have been killed over an enmity with his rivals, said the OC. However, Hridoy's family claimed that police picked up Hridoy from a shop on Tuesday and since then he remained missing.
