Man dies as tree falls on him

KHULNA: A man was killed and two people were injured as a tree fell on them at Kalna village in Koyra upazila on Thursday, reports UNB. The deceased was identified as Tipu Sikdar, 47 son of Ali Sikdar of Tikari Bazar area in Jhenaidah district while the injured were Nilima Rani, 25, wife of Sanjib Baral and their seven years old boy of the same area.

Witnesses said when Tipu and two others were passing through the area by a motorbike a tree fell on them, leaving the three seriously injured. Tipu died on way to hospital. The injured were taken to Khulna Sadar Hospital. They came to Koyra upazila for visiting a relative.
