CHATTOGRAM: Chattogram district police arrested two persons with seven guns and two cartridges from Saral village under Banskhali upazila of the district yesterday, reports BSS.
The arrested were identified as Omar Mayda, 45, and Mohammad Ali,50, both hailed from Saral village under Banskhali upazila of the district.
Additional Superintendent of district police Mohiuddin Mahmud Sohel in a press briefing said, being informed, police arrested them with the guns from Saral village under Banskhali upazila around 2 am.
Several murder and dacoity cases were pending against them with different police stations.
Another case was filed against them under the Arms Act yesterday, the ASP added.
