Commonwealth secretary general arrives today

Commonwealth Secretary-General Kamalesh Sharma is scheduled to arrive in the capital today on a three-day visit, reports BSS.
During his visit, he will discuss with the government the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM) to be held in Malta in November this year and the fourteenth Meeting of Commonwealth Foreign Affairs Ministers (CFAMM) due in New York on September 24.
According to foreign ministry sources, Sharma is scheduled to meet Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and invite her to attend the CHOGM. He will also meet Foreign Minister A H Mahmood Ali on Saturday morning.
