West Bengal women cagers win first match

The visiting West Bengal women team posted a comfortable 42-29 win over Bangladesh national women team in an exhibition basketball match played at Dhanmondi Basketball Gymnasium n the capital yesterday. The Indian side led the first half 19-12.
Pratyusha Ghosh with ten and Priyanka with seven points were the two principal scorers for West Bengal.  Mashiat, Lomy and Uzma caged six points for Bangladesh. The second match between the two teams will be played at the same venue today at 4 pm. The third and last match will take place tomorrow at Chittagong Club ground.
