Khulna dist JP council Monday

Khulna district unit of Jatiya Party (Ershad) biennial council-2015 is scheduled to be held on September 14 at Shaheed Hadis Park ground in the city. Member secretary of Khulna district unit council organising committee Shafiqul Islam Modhu said this. Central committee’s joint secretary general Modhu said the incumbent convening body of the Khulna district unit will be upgraded to a full-fledged in the upcoming council. As per constitution of the organisation, the convening committee will be upgraded to a 101-member committee. A total of 5,000 delegates including 781 district committee councilors will attend the conference, hoped Modhu. He also said we are now all set for holding the council in schedule time. JP Chairman and former President Hussain Muhammad Ershad will attend the council as chief guest and will inaugurate the programme formally at around 10 am on Monday, Modhu further said. HM Ershad last visited Khulna in 2009. Secretary General of Jatiya Party Ziauddin Ahmed Bablu, MP, will present as chief discussant.  Modhu said, “We have already made all necessary preparations to make the council a success. As part of it, we have completed councils in the 9 upazilas and two pourashava units of the organisation under Khulna district.” By holding the council, we will prove that Khulna is a stronghold of the Jatiya Party, he added.
Presidium Member of Jatiya Party and Water Resources Minister Barrister Anisul Islam Mahmud, Presidium members Md Sahidur Rahman and Md Taj Rahman, central committee Vice-Chairman and Khulna city unit president Md Abul Hossain and senior joint secretary general Advocate Rezaul Islam Bhuiyan will present as special guests. Convener of the district unit council organising committee, also presidium member Sunil Shuvo Roy will preside over the function, he further said.
