A three-day long ‘Bangladesh Industrial Building Innovation Summit and Exposition’ with a view to promoting sustainable, environment-friendly and planned urbanization started yesterday at the Bangabandhu International Conference Centre in the capital.
The main patron of the exhibition is Easy Automation of Easy group, one of the major servicing of companies for Oil, Gas, Power, Construction, Telecommunication and Information Technology sectors in the country.
National Housing Division Chairman Khandaker Akhtaruzzaman, Chief Engineer of the Department of Public works M Kabir Ahmed Bhuyan, Senior Advisor to the German Development Co-operation Dilder Ahmed Toufique and Managing Director of Easy Group Julfiker Ali were present as special guests.
Emphasizing the exposition, M Rashedul Haque said that some 67 technology making institutions for building innovation from 8 countries participated in the exhibition to focus on renewable natural power, carbon-free environment, use of daylight, control of air movement and building of eye-catching architecture by reuse of rainwater through the exhibition.
