Bangladesh women basketball team to play West Bengal

Bangladesh women basketball team will encounter their West Bengal counterpart in three exhibition matches. Two matches will take place today and tomorrow at the Dhanmondi Basketball Gymnasium in the capital. The third and last match will be held at Chittagong Club ground on Sunday.
The West Bengal team was due to arrive in Dhaka on Wednesday night. Meanwhile, Bangladesh Basketball Federation (BBF) has selected a 12-member Bangladesh national team to represent the country.
This will be the first time that national women basketball team will make debut against a foreign team. Ranjit Chandra Das has been named as the coach of  the team. The selected players are: Uzma Ahmed, Maswiyat Iftekhar, Zara Ahmed, Zayeema Sarwar, Lamia Hafiz, Natasha Kalam, Raysa  Habib, Ashreen Mridha, Lami Khandkar, Kashfia Kayes, Sudeshna Biswas and Nazia Nazmul.
