Kids U-18 rugby league begins

Diamond Melamine Under-8 Kids Rugby League started yesterday in the capital with six clubs are taking part in the first ever any league competition for the Under-8 boys is being organised by the Bangladesh Rugby Federation Union.

Held at the Shaheed M Mansur Ali Handball Stadium, Advocate Jahangir Kabir Nanok MP, join secretary of Bangladesh Awami League, inaugurated the rugby league as the chief guest.

Among the six clubs, four teams from Dhaka and one each from Chattagram and Sylhet are taking part in the league. Teams are - Mariner Young’s, Farashganj Sporting Club, Azad Sporting Club, Victoria Sporting Club (Dhaka), Agrabad Noajoan (Chattagram) and Sylhet Hill Rugby Club (Sylhet)
