Bangladesh are scheduled to play a warm-up match today as part of the preparation for their three-match T20 International series against Afghanistan.
The series will kick-start on June 3 at the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium in Dehradun with the last two matches slating to be held on June 5 and 7.
Bangladesh T20 captain Shakib Al Hasan however joined the side yesterday but he is unlikely to play the practice match. Tamim Iqbal who played an exhibition T20 match in Lord’s for ICC World Xi against West Indies, is due to join the team before the first match and set to miss the practice game also.
Bangladesh team left the country on May 29 sans Shakib, Tamim and Mustafizur Rahman who was ruled out of the side at the eleventh hour due to a crack on his big toe of the left foot.
