Amongst the scheduled matches, the eves’ team will play their first one day match at CCG on September 10. Thereafter, they will play their second match at the same ground on September 13. Since then, they will play some more games till the last week of the current month, after which the selectors will trim the Bangladesh women’s preliminary squad from 26 to 20.
They will announce the final squad for the series in the last week of September or first week of October. On August 6, Bangladesh women’s preliminary squad, which was formed with the blend of new and old guards, started the practice session with 26 players. It was ended on August 19 after two weeks.  The practice at this level was limited to fitness and yoga only at BCB gym under the guidance of the head coach Janak Champika Gamage. Besides them, they have taken run-up alongside stretching at NCA ground.
With three-day break, they once again start their second phase practice on August 22. At this stage, they began practice with willow and cherry. Thereafter, they played a couple of unofficial practice matches at NCA. On the other hand, a four-member Bangladesh security team will return home from Pakistan today after the end of their four-day inspection in Karachi and Lahore. They are asked to submit their report within two weeks. On the basis of their report, Bangladesh will decide that they will send their women’s team to Pakistan or not.
