Mentioning that Awami League is against any national disunity, Public Administration Minister Syed Ashraful Islam yesterday said their party wants the whole nation to get united again as during the Liberation War, reports UNB.
“We don’t want to see any division in the country any more. There had been many violence and conflicts in the past…enough is enough…let’s get united as we were during the Liberation War,” he said.
Ashraf, also the AL general secretary, said this while addressing a discussion organised by Awami League Dhaka city unit at the Institute of Engineers in the city, marking the 40th death anniversary of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
