KHULNA: The Khulna City Corporation (KCC) authorities yesterday have taken decision to set up mobile court at cattle market. The decision was taken in a meeting held at the Shaheed Altaf auditorium with KCC mayor Moniruzzaman Mony in the chair, reports BSS.
The KCC authorities also have taken adequate security measures for ensuring smooth and peaceful run of the cattle market in Zoragate area of the city.
The meeting also decided that Khulna metropolitan police (KMP) will take tight security measures at the cattle market. KMP will set up close circuit cameras and will use modern electronic devices at the market to prevent any untoward situation.
Additional police will be deployed in and around the cattle market.
Khulna district administration will give all kind of cooperation at the cattle market, the meeting decided.
The meeting has been informed that only cattle market is expected to open on September 18, 2015 ahead of Eid-ul-Azha.
KCC panel mayors Md Anisur Rahman Biswas, Sheikh Hafizur Rahman and Ruma Khatun, Councilors, Additional District Magistrate Md Nure Alam, Additional deputy commissioner of KCC Moniruzzaman Mithu, government and KCC officials, among others, attended the meeting.
