Regional sport competition begins in Khulna

A three-day 44th Regional School and Madrassa Summer Sports Competition began at Khulna Zila School playground in the city yesterday morning.
Khulna Divisional Commissioner Md Abdus Samad inaugurated the competition. He said sports can ensure the brotherhood mentality among the students so they should take part in sports besides there studies.
Deputy Director of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education, Khulna region TM Zakir Hossain presided over the function. Deputy Commissioner (DC) of Khulna Md Mostafa Kamal was the special guest. A number of students took part in the sports competition.  District Education Officer of Khulna, headmasters of different schools, madrassa, gathered there.
