Narayanganj:Cement-laden vessel ‘MV Nayamat Sokria-2’ capsized in the Shitalakshya River after being collided head-on with another vessel on Saturday noon, reports UNB. The chef of the vessel, Miraj Kazi of Kamal Pratap area in Narail district, remained missing since the incident occurred in the noon, said Syed Imran Ali, a technician of the capsized vessel. The vessel was loaded with around 7,500 sacks of cement from Akiz Cement factory in Nabiganj area in the morning and was going to Faridpur, said Sayed Imam Ali, owner of the vessel. Eyewitness said 'MV Nayamat Sokria-2' collided head-on with 'MV Prince Latif' coming from the opposite direction.
