Cumilla: At least two people were killed and four were injured in a head-on collision between two CNG-run auto-rickshaws on Companyganj-Nabinagar road in Muradnagar upazila on Saturday evening, reports UNB. The deceased were identified as Shanti Ranjan Dev, 65, son of late Mahal Ranjan of Nabinagar union of the upazila and Abul Kalam, 60, son of late Chand Mia of Hosnabad in Bangra Bazar police station. The incident took place when an auto-rickshaw tried to overtake another in the evening leaving one dead on the spot and five critically injured, said Jibon Roy Chowdhury, Sub-inspector of Bangra Bazar Police Station.
