Al-Arafah Islami Bank gets chair, vice-chair

Enayet Ullah and Salim Rahman have been re-elected as chairman and vice-chairman of executive committee of the board of Al-Arafah Islami Bank Ltd respectively, the bank said in a press statement yesterday.

 They were elected unanimously in the 322nd meeting of the board held in the capital recently. According to the decision of the meeting, they will continue their new responsibilities for next two years.

Enayet Ullah is one of the founder directors of Al-Arafah Islami Bank Ltd. He also is the president of Moulvi Bazar Merchant Association and Bangladesh Whole Sale Spices Merchant Association.

Salim Rahman is the managing director of KDS Group, which consists of KDS Garments Industries Ltd, KDS Accessories ltd, KDS Apparels Ltd, KDS IDR Ltd, KDS Textiles Ltd, KYCR Coil Industries Ltd, Steel Accessories Ltd, KDS Poly Industries Ltd, the statement added.
