Popy has her hands full with Eid tele-dramas
National Film Award winning actress to celebrate her birthday today

Three-time National Film Award winning audience-admired actress Sadika Parvin Popy has her hands full with several tele-dramas on the occasion of upcoming Eid-ul-Azha. She will be appearing as the central character in the tele-drama titled Nayikar Biye, directed by TR Arif, and will also appear in Innocent Love, written by Farhana Rahman and directed by Ahmed Alvi. DhakaLive has news that the work for these two tele-dramas will be completed by September 16. She will also be seen in another tele-drama this Eid titled Expression of Love, written by Rudra Mahfuz.
Popy said about working in tele-dramas, During last Eid I worked in two tele-dramas. But this time around, I am working in three tele-dramas. The stories of Nayikar Biye and Innocent Love gave me the eagerness to work in them. Nowadays, there is a lack of original stories. That is why I was excited to work in these two original stories. She also informed that the two tele-dramas will be aired during Eid-ul-Azha on two different satellite TV channels.
Today is a special day for the actress as it is her birthday. Similar to her previous birthdays, she confirmed that she will spend the day in a homely manner. However, she will be seen on Channel i today at 12:30pm in Citycell Taroka Kothon, as confirmed by the shows producer Ananya Ruma.
On the other hand, Popy will pair up with actor DA Tayeb in the film Sona Bandhu, directed by Jahangir Alam Sumon. Even though the shooting of this film was scheduled to be held before this Eid, Popy informed that the shooting will take place after the Eid in full swing.
