Riaz and Jenny act together for first time
The tele-drama to be aired on Channel 9 in Eid

For the first time, National Film Award winning actor Riaz and popular actress Jenny have acted together. The duo has paired up in an Eid special tele-drama titled Somantoral directed by Sakal Ahmed. The shooting of the tele-drama completed yesterday at a shooting house in Uttara of the capital.
Sakal Ahmed informed that the story of tele-drama mainly moves forward surrounding the second marriage of a man, while it is the first marriage for the girl whom he is marrying. The husband has a child from the earlier marriage and all his concerns are mainly about the child. On the other hand, the wife wants to maintain the family ensuring her rights. With a story like this, the tele-drama Somantoral has been made. The tele-drama is scripted by Gergis Ahmed.
In the tele-drama, Riaz has enacted the role of the husband and Jenny has played as the wife.
Riaz said about acting in the tele-drama, Both the story and making of the tele-drama were fantastic. As usual, Sakal Ahmed did a wonderful job. I hope the viewers will like this tele-drama made with a different story. This is my first work with Jenny and she has also acted well.
Jenny said about Riaz, He is completely a decent man. At the same time, I found him an immensely cooperative co-artiste. He didnt even give me any chance to feel for a single moment that I am working with him for the first time during the shooting. I will be glad to act alongside him in the future.
The making of Sakal Ahmed has always been admired by the audience. There was no exception here. I hope the viewers will enjoy the tele-drama in a different way, Jenny added.
Somantoral will be aired on Channel 9 during the upcoming Eid.
