Princess Maha Chakri Srindhorn, the second daughter of late King Bhumibol of Thailand who is renowned for humanitarian work, will arrive here on May 28 on a three-day visit to see some development projects and inaugurate some new projects, reports UNB. State Minister for Foreign Affairs M Shahriar Alam will welcome her upon her arrival at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport. Princess Srindhorn, who visited Bangladesh in 2010 and 2011, will meet Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, a diplomat told UNB. The Foreign Minister will host a dinner in honor of Princess Srindhorn on May 29, an official said adding that she is coming at the invitation of Foreign Minister Ali. She will visit Chittagong on May 30 and inaugurate some development projects there. "She would be on a philanthropy visit for the people of Bangladesh," another official told UNB.
