Steps taken to ensure security during Ramadan

KHULNA: Khulna Metropolitan Police (KMP) has taken a good number of steps to ensure security and keep vehicular movement smooth during the holy month of Ramadan, reports BSS. Additional Deputy Police Commissioner Sonali Sen said this yesterday  while addressing a view-exchange meeting over the traffic movement and security during the Ramadan.At least 2,000 police personnel, including plain-clothes police, will be  deployed in the city, she said. "A total of 88 close circuit cameras (CCTVs) and 21 check posts have been  set up in the city," she said, adding that no illegal parking would be  allowed during the holy month. Police vigilance will be enhanced at important markets, banks and  stations, said the additional deputy commissioner.
