Youth killed in road crash

A youth was killed when a pick-up van hit him in the capital's Arambagh area early yesterday, reports UNB.

Bacchu Mia, sub-inspector of Dhaka Medical College Hospital Police camp, said Shaon, 18, a mineral water supplier, was killed when a chicken-laden pick-up van hit him while crossing a road around 2:30 am.

Meanwhile, 13 people were injured when a human hauler overturned after being hit by a wrecker in the city's Matuail area around 4:30 am.
