Shajahan calls for raising awareness to check road crash

MADARIPUR: Shipping Minister Shajahan Khan  yesterday called upon the passengers and the pedestrians along with the drivers to become conscious while travelling on the road as consciousness is for checking the increasing rate of road accident in the country, reports BSS.

“Not only the drivers but the passengers and pedestrians also have to raise their awareness for checking the road accident,” said the minister.

The Shipping Minister made this call as the chief guest while he was addressing a tri-annial conference of the district teachers association at Shilpakala Academy here this afternoon.

He said it is not right to accuse only the drivers if any accident takes place. The passengers are too responsible for the accident, he added.
