Bangladesh face a tough time to secure a place into the quarterfinals when they take on a strong Vietnam in the ongoing Asian Women’s Futsal Championship in Bangkok.
Bangladesh, who suffered a 7-1 defetat to Malaysia in their debut match after a starting with an inspiring 1-0 lead but finally had to concede the big defeat to the experienced opponents.
According to AFC website, in a pree-match press conference in Bangkok, Bangladesh coach Golam Rabbani Choton said that lack of experiences they had to go down by a big margin.
“It was the first time that we played on a futsal ground,” he said.
“We lost the match because our girls are not experienced in this new game and we didn’t play well in the first half too.”
“Our girls now have an idea about the game and the mistakes they made, and they will recover and improve in the next match,” he declared.
While Vietnamese girls are one step to cross to secure place in the knockout stage while last time in 2007 in the Asian Indoor Games they finished fourth.
