Youth shot dead in Pabna

Pabna: A young man was shot to death by some criminals at Bharatpur village in Atghoria upazila yesterday morning, reports UNB. The deceased was identified as Salauddin Ahmed alias Bishal Khan,24, of the village. Sub-inspector of Atghoria police station Alamgir Hossain said a gang of criminals entered the house of Bishal by breaking open the door while he was sleeping at about 8:30 am. They opened fire on Bishal and hurriedly left the scene, leaving him dead on the spot. Informed, police recovered the body and sent it to Pabna General Hospital morgue for an autopsy. Police also arrested nine people on suspicion of the killing. A case was filed in this connection.
