China keen to establish air connectivity

China Eastern Airlines, one of the Chinese state-owned carriers, is keen to start flight operation on Kunming-Chattogram-Kunming route considering fast growing bilateral trade between Bangladesh and China, reports BSS.

The proposal was placed when Chinese Ambassador to Bangladesh Zhang Zuo paid a call on Civil Aviation and Tourism Minister AKM Shahjahan Kamal at secretariat in the capital.

Besides, the Chinese ambassador also proposed to increase flight frequencies on Kunming-Dhaka-Kunming and Zhuangzu-Dhaka-Zhuangzu routes as currently business communities of both the countries are traveling frequently between Bangladesh and China.
