Abul Hayat, Chanchal Chy in Eid special tele-drama

Two immensely popular actors the country’s showbiz from two generations, Chanchal Chowdhury and Abul Hayat will be seen together in a special tele-drama titled ‘Proti Shonibar Newaz-er Chacha Mara Zan’ directed by Golam Sohrab Dodul. The tele-drama will be aired on Banglavision during the upcoming Eid-ul-Fitr.

The story of the tele-drama is written by Tuhin Barua, while its screenplay and dialogue have been written by Shahjahan Saurav. Veteran actor Abul Hayat has played as the uncle of Newaz—the central character is played by Chanchal Chowdhury.

There are a few employees who often take leave from the office by informing the news of the demise of their relatives. Even, they keep telling the death news of the same person for several times. Newaz is such an employee who takes leave from the office for several consecutive Saturdays faking the death news of his uncle. But one day, his uncle truly dies suddenly. With a story like this, the tele-drama has been made for the viewers.

Abul Hayat said, “Dodul always does wonderful works. He makes sure that the artistes work comfortably under his direction. Though it’s a comedy play, still there is a beautiful story. Chanchal is an amazing actor, and working with him always very pleasurable. I hope the audience will like the tele-drama.”

Chanchal Chowdhury said, “I never imagined the story of the tele-drama would be the story of my own life. I have completed the work of the tele-drama on Tuesday. The very next morning my younger maternal uncle died. Actually, the stories for the dramas are taken from the life of people. None of the stories can be separated from the life of people—I have realised it again.”
