Submissions invited for 26th World Award

Submission of entries for the 26th World Award for Book of the Year of the Iran for 2019 is now open, reports UNB.

The book award committee called for the books from the authors, publishers, translators from across world honouring the best works on Iranian and Islamic studies.  

Winners will be awarded the prize at a prestigious Iranian literature awards ceremony held in February. The World Award for Book of the Year aims to introduce worthwhile international books to Iran. It also honours their authors, editors and translators for elevating general knowledge and culture, and developing public scholarship within the Islamic and Iranian written heritage.

Subject areas are limited to Iranian and Islamic studies within which there are several sub-areas. Interested parties can submit their entries till October 31 on [email protected] while all kinds of information will be asked through [email protected].
