Car plunges into Kuril lake

A private car skidded off the road and fell into a roadside lake at the base of the flyover on Kuril Biswaroad in the capital yesterday, reports UNB. The incident took place around 10:15 am, Inspector Ataur Rahman of Fire Service and Civil Defense control room told UNB.
However, a towing carne of police salvaged it within an hour into the incident, he added. Nobody was hurt in the incident as the driver managed to scramble out of the vehicle before it drowned in the water.
