The United Arab Emirates (UAE) will recruit Bangladeshi nationals under 19 categories through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), reports BSS.
Bangladesh and the UAE yesterday signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for recruiting manpower from Bangladesh under 19 categories after a long discussion, according to an
official message received in the capital.
Secretary of Ministry of Expatriates Welfare and Overseas Employment Dr Namita Halder and Under-Secretary of Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation of UAE Saif Ahmed Al Suwaidi signed the MoU on behalf of their respective sides in Dubai.
Minister of Human Resources and Emiratisation of UAE Nasser bin Thani Juma Al Hamli witnessed the MoU signing ceremony. The MoU was signed on the basis of interests and compliance of the both countries.
Bangladesh Ambassador to the UAE Mohammad Imran, Additional Secretary of Home Ministry Mohammad Azharul Haque and officials concerned were present.
Considering the objectives of safe, well-disciplined and responsible labour migration, the MoU was signed.
