Ctg port officer held over graft
Anti-corporation Commission (ACC) yesterday arrested an account officer of the Chittagong Port Authority over charge of graft. The arrestee was identified as deputy-chief Finance and Accounts of CPA Sandipan Chowdhury. He was arrested from CPA at around 12pm yesterday. Sandipan Chowdhury was arrested on charge of purchasing different goods. Two cases were filed against him in 2013 on charge of graft in buying cargo charger at Bandar Police Station, said Lutfur Kabir Chandan, deputy director of ACC in Chattogram district.
