Bangladesh win in second match

Bangladesh national basketball team pulled-off their first victory on the second match against Central Railway in the All India Invitation Basketball Tournament at Rakhi Sangha Ground in Kolkata yesterday.

The red and greens faced Central Railway basketball team on their second match of the tournament and won by 89-79 points. Mithun Biswas scored 27 points, Mithun Sarker 24 points and Sohaib 11 points.

On the other hand Bangladesh national woman’s basketball team lost their first match against South Western Railway Woman’s team by 107-70 points.

‘All India Invitation Basketball Tournament’ has been organised the tournament to celebrate the 100 years of founding of the Kolkata’s legendary club Rakhi Sangha, where both men’s team and women’s team are participating in the tournament.
