Standard Authority to be formed

Industries Secretary Muhammad Abdullah yesterday said a Standard Authority will be formed in the country and it will start its operation by 2019 in a bid to follow unique international standard in all the laboratories, testing and certification institutions of the country, reports BSS.

“This Standard Authority will start its operations by 2019. As a result, the position of Bangladesh will be further strengthened in international trade,” said the Secretary.
