15 houses gutted in Ctg

CHATTOGRAM: At least 15 dwelling houses were gutted in a fire in Gashiyapara area under Chawkbazar Police Station in the port city early on Wednesday, reports BSS.

Jashim Uddin, deputy assistant director of Fire Service and Civil Defence in Chattogram, said the fire originated from an electric short-circuit at a dwelling house in the area around 1.15 am and quickly engulfed the adjoining houses.
