Dhaka has condemned the recent missile attacks allegedly by Houthi rebels in Yemen targeting different places of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia including its capital, Riyadh. Bangladesh has also expressed its solidarity with the people and government of Saudi Arabia against what it described as aggressive acts.
“Bangladesh condemns the series of missile attacks that has been recently launched by the Houthi rebels targeting toward civil establishments and populated places in Riyadh, Najran and Jazan. It is also a matter of concern that two hostile drones had entered Saudi airspace. However, these were successfully intercepted by the Saudi air defence forces,” said a foreign ministry statement yesterday.
“The government of Bangladesh conveys their concern at such unilateral acts.
