Hanging body of SUST student found

Police last night found the body of a student of Shahjalal University of Science & Technology (SUST) hanging from the grill of a window inside his room in Sylhet city’s Akaliya area.  The deceased, identified as Shahriar Majumder, was a member of Ganajagaran Mancha. He was living at a flat rented by a group of students for residential purpose. Entering the room, police found Shahriar’s laptop switched on and the room bolted from inside. Several SUST teachers including Vice Chancellor Prof Aminul Haque and Prof Zafar Iqbal visited the spot.
