Group exhibition �Major Minor� set to begin today

‘Major Minor’—a 15-day group art exhibition is set to begin today at Monobhumi Art Space, Elephant Road in the city. Architect Nahas Ahmed Khalil will inaugurate the exhibition as chief guest, while architect Salauddin Ahmed will be present as special guest at the opening ceremony. The exhibition is an outcome of a drawing workshop, which was organised at Monobhumi premises from August 10 to 18. Conducted by artist and art critic Mustafa Zaman, a total number of 13 artists took part in the workshop. The participating artists are—Mustafa Zaman, Mahmudur Rahman Dipon, Shaheed Ahmed Mithu, Saleh Mahmud, Anukul Chandra Mojumder, Tanviul Islam Mithu, Mohammad Hasanur Rahman(Reaz), Shirin, Neloy I Hossain, Masudur Rahman, Ishrat Zahan Kakon, Zahid Hossain, and Sanjay Chakraborty.
The exhibition will remain open to all every day from 3pm to 8pm, until September 18.
