RAJSHAHI: ‘A drug addict youth’ cut off his mother’s fingers at Reshom Potti in the city yesterday, reports UNB. The injured woman is Habiba Khatun, 75, wife of Lutfar Rahman. Sources at Rajshahi Medical College and Hospital said that Habiba's drug addict son Musa locked into an altercation with her around 10.45 am. At one stage, Musa, 45, hit her mother’s right hand with a sharp weapon that severed two fingers from the hand.
