Trump lauds Hasina role in addressing Rohingya plight

US President Donald Trump reaffirmed its partnership with Bangladesh on democracy, development, counterterrorism, trade and investment, reports UNB. "Today we recognize Bangladesh's steady economic and developmental progress," he said in a message to President Abdul Hamid and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina marking Bangladesh's Independence Day that falls on March 26.
