Walton has started laptop export in the international market through signing a contract with a Nigerian company.
Finance Minister AMA Muhith yesterday attended the contract signing ceremony as the chief guest at Finance Ministry in the city, said a press statement.
Posts, Telecommuni-cations and Information Technology Minister Mustafa Jabbar and State Minister for Information and Communication Technology Zunaid Ahmed Palak were present at the function as special guests.
Chairman of Walton DG-Tech Industries Limited SM Rezaul Alam and Nigerian importer organisation Western Bez Nigeria Limited Director Devid None signed the agreement on behalf of their respective sides.
Walton has started its new journey through exporting laptop to Nigeria. Gradually, it will expand its export market in Nepal, Bhutan and East Timor.
