Bangladesh iconic allrounder-turned-T20 captain Shakib Al Hasan yet again slid down one position in the latest ICC T20I All-Rounder Rankings just after the conclusion of the Nidahas Trophy T20 Tri-series.
Before the latest slid, he lost his top position to Australian Glenn Maxwell on grounds of leaving out of the last T20I home series against Sri Lanka for finger niggles.
Country’s premier all-rounder overall missed out of the last T20I home series against Sri Lanka along with the initial three matches of the Nidahas Cup T20 Tri-series on account of his left little finger niggles.
While he comes back in his games from one and half-a-long injury layoff and played the last two matches of the Nidahas Cup, the first of which considered a virtual semifinal against the hosts Sri Lanka and the last one was the final against the T20 top-flight Indian side, where he though showed his grits with ball but missed to justify himself with bat. For this, he lost his second position to Afghanistan all-rounder Mohammad Nabi. The points-gap between Shakib and Nabi is now five. Shakib chalked up 287 ratting points, while Nabi 292. Australian all-rounder Maxwell led the chart with 389.
But he is still No. I all-rounder in Test and one-day International all-rounder rankings.
