Seminar on Developing Career at Eastern University
In association with the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) Career Services and International Office (CSIO), Eastern University (EU) recently organised a seminar titled Career Development through Professional Learning in the EU seminar Hall. The seminar was conducted by Noor-E-Fayzun, Business Relationship Officer, ACCA Bangladesh.
Joining in this session Eastern University students came to know that how recognised certifications can get them the job, help them to retain that job during layoffs, increase the marketability of their skill sets and provide professional credibility for them and firm them in a highly competitive marketplace. Investing the time and effort to acquire an accounting certification can also increase their salary, bonus and standing within company. Moreover, these credentials can provide more opportunities for a promotion. In the seminar it was also focused that through the ACCA path way, students can also avail B.Sc. in Applied Accounting from Oxford Brookes University and M.Sc. in Professional Accountancy, which are accepted worldwide.
Above all, the seminar was very informative and interactive and it ended with a question and answering session.
