Schoolboy ‘kills self’ in Ctg

CHITTAGONG: A schoolboy allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself at East Gomdondi in Boalkhali municipality area on Saturday morning, reports UNB. The deceased was identified as Ali Hasan Sifat Talukder, 15, a class X student of Gomdondi Pilot Model High School and son of Saudi expatriate Abu Mohammad. Getting no response from Sifat’s room on Saturday morning family members broke open the door and found him hanging from the ceiling around 8:30am, said his elder sister Abida Sultana. On information, police rushed to the spot and recovered the body around 11:30am, said Arifur Rahman, Sub Inspector of Boalkhali Police Station. An unnatural death case was filed with Kotwali Model Police Station.
