Singer Bangladesh declared 100 per cent cash dividend for its shareholders for year ended December 31, 2017, a press statement said yesterday.
Gavin Walker, Chairman, Singer Bangladesh Limited presided over the meeting.
The shareholders of the company approved the 100 per cent cash dividend amounting to Tk 766 million for the year 2017.
Singer Bangladesh Limited recorded a 37.4 per cent increase in earnings.
Profit after tax increased by 37 per cent to Tk 746 million, with earnings per share increasing at the same rate to Tk 9.79 per share.
During 2017, Emerging Credit Rating Limited (ECRL) announced that it has maintained its AAA long-term credit rating for Singer Bangladesh with a stable outlook for the company, the statement added.
