Nilphamari: An elderly disabled man was burnt to death as a fire broke out in the kitchen at Titpara village of Dimla upazila early Saturday, reports UNB.
The deceased was identified as Jashim Uddin, 65, of the village.
The fire was ignited from the clay cooker while he was sleeping, leaving him dead on the spot, said Moazzem Hossain, officer-in-charge of Dimla Police Station.
Being informed by locals, police recovered the body.
