Stalker stabs varsity girl

Kishoreganj: A university student was stabbed by a stalker reportedly for refusing a proposal for love affair at Kharampatti in upazila headquarters here on Saturday, reports UNB.

The victim is a LLB final year student of Ishakha International University and the attacker Md Imral, son of Ratan Mia of Naguna area in the city, is also a final year student of BBA department of the same university.

While the victim was returning to her home by a rickshaw, the stalker intercepted her and proposed her. As she refused him, the stalker stabbed her with a knife and immediately fled the scene. Locals rescued the victim and took to Kishoreganj General Hospital. Meanwhile, victim’s father filed a case with Kishoreganj Model Police Station accusing Imran.
